Return & Refund Policy — Limayas Closet

At Limayas Closet we do our best to deliver the most beautiful modest fashion to you. However, it can happen that a product does not fully meet your expectations. No problem — below you can read exactly how we will resolve this together.

Return Period You have 14 days to return a product. This period starts on the day you receive your package. The delivery date as registered in the PostNL track & trace is leading.

Example: if the track & trace shows that your package was delivered on Monday May 5th, then the return period starts on Tuesday May 6th and ends on Tuesday May 20th.

Did you not personally receive the package but was it delivered to a neighbour or PostNL pick-up point? The delivery date in the track & trace still applies as the start date of the return period. We recommend saving your track & trace after receipt.

Return Conditions To process a return, the product must meet all of the following conditions: it is unworn and unwashed, all original labels and tags are still attached, the product is in its original condition without stains, tears or damage, and the return has been reported within the 14-day return period.

If the product does not meet these conditions — for example because it has been worn, labels have been removed or the product has been damaged — we unfortunately cannot accept the return. In that case we will return the product at the customer's expense and no refund will be made.

Inspection Upon Receipt Upon receipt of each returned product we always carry out a thorough inspection. We check whether the product is unworn and undamaged, whether all labels and tags are still present, and whether the product matches the return report. The outcome of this inspection determines the refund.

How to Return? Step by Step

Step 1 — Send an email to Limayascloset@gmail.com with the subject: Return — [your order number]

Step 2 — Include the following information in your email:

  • Your order number (starts with #, found in your order confirmation)
  • Which products do you want to return? (name + size + colour)
  • The reason for return — choose from: ordered wrong size, product looks different than expected, product does not meet expectations, wrong product received, product received damaged, or other (describe)
  • Add photos as attachment in case of damage
  • Your preference: refund or exchange?

Step 3 — We will respond with a confirmation and further return instructions including the return address.

Step 4 — Pack the product carefully, preferably in the original packaging, so that it is well protected during transport.

Step 5 — Send the package to the address we send you. Keep your proof of shipment until the return has been fully processed. We are not liable for packages that are lost during return shipment.

Step 6 — After we have received the product, we will process the return within 3 working days.

Step 7 — Once the return has been approved, the refund will be initiated.

Return Shipping Costs The costs of return shipping are at the customer's expense. No restocking fees will be charged. Only if the product is demonstrably damaged or incorrectly delivered by us will we fully reimburse the return shipping costs.

Upon receipt of the package we ask you to check the contents immediately. Any damage or inaccuracies must be reported within 24 hours of delivery via Limayascloset@gmail.com with clear photos as evidence. Reports submitted more than 24 hours after the registered delivery date can unfortunately no longer be processed.

Refund After approval of the return you will receive the refund within 5 working days via the same payment method as your original payment. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed. Please note that depending on your bank the refund may still take 1-3 working days to appear in your account.

Exchange Would you prefer to exchange for a different size or colour? State this clearly in your return email in step 2. We will check availability and inform you as soon as possible. Exchanging is subject to the same conditions as returning. If the desired product is not in stock you will automatically receive a refund.

Received a Damaged or Wrong Product? Did you receive a damaged or wrong product? Send an email within 48 hours of receipt to Limayascloset@gmail.com with clear photos and your order number. We will always resolve this free of charge. Reports submitted more than 48 hours after delivery can unfortunately no longer be processed.
